Digital printing reproduces artwork from a digital file on the product's supported print medium. This may be the item itself or a separate label; the product source determines the medium and attachment. Achievable detail, finish and color matching depend on the product and supplier.

Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch your design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges that hold fine lines and small text. The result carries no separate ink: it reads in the substrate's own tone — a lighter shade on metal, a darker burn on wood — with a depth you can feel and a mark that resists fading, wear, and scratching.

- How much does it cost per unit?
- Pricing falls with quantity: 10–249 pieces $103.86 each, 250–999 pieces $100.45 each, 1,000–5,000 pieces $97.27 each. Prices are per unit, imprint included — one-time setup charged separately.
- Is there a setup charge?
- Yes — a one-time setup charge of $50.00 per order. The imprint itself is included in the unit price.
- How long does production take?
- Production takes 3 business days after proof approval; a free digital proof is e-mailed within 24 hours of receiving artwork. 72-Hour Rush production is available on this item for $39.00: your order goes to production the business day you check out with artwork by 12:00 PM CT — no digital proof to approve.

- What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade. - Each color in the design is stitched in a solid thread shade chosen to match your artwork. Where a product offers it, Pantone (PMS) color matching is an option for an additional charge per color, selecting the thread closest to your Pantone reference; otherwise the embroiderer picks the nearest standard thread color.
