Description
Red Kap builds this long-sleeve industrial work shirt from a 4.25-ounce poly/cotton blend with Touchtex technology, which provides breathable comfort, lasting colors, and stain resistance. The wrinkle-resistant finish means the shirt requires minimal ironing after washing, and the IL50 style is tested through 50 industrial launderer washes to hold up in demanding work environments.
The shirt is cut with an open collar and sewn-in stays, a separate two-piece yoke, and a six-button front with a metal collar gripper closure at the neck. Two button-through pockets include a bartacked pencil stall on the left pocket, keeping small tools and writing instruments secure during the workday.

Decoration & Imprint
1 method
Embroidery places your design directly on the shirt fabric, stitched in colored thread for a raised, textured mark with the soft sheen and dimensionality of real stitching. Best for logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color is a flat spot color and a raised, textured finish adds value.
EmbroideryFull-color imprint · 1 location included · one-time setup $35.00
Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.

From our decoration and product guides
- What does an embroidered logo look like?
- Embroidery stitches the design directly into the fabric, building the artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling and wear through repeated washing. - What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade. For photographic or gradient artwork choose a full-color method; for crisp hairline detail choose screen print. More about Embroidery →
- How are embroidery thread colors matched to my brand colors?
- Each color in the design is stitched in a solid thread shade chosen to match your artwork. Where a product offers it, Pantone (PMS) color matching is an option for an additional charge per color, selecting the thread closest to your Pantone reference; otherwise the embroiderer picks the nearest standard thread color.
