Your imprint is placed opposite the clip. Pad print applies a thin, flat layer of opaque ink that conforms to the pen's curved surface, holding fine lines and small text with crisp edges. Heat transfer — full color lays down photographic, multi-color artwork with smooth gradients on a bonded surface layer. For artwork with tight detail or small text, pad print keeps edges sharp on the curved barrel; for photographic or gradient-rich designs, heat transfer reproduces tonal blends faithfully.

Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.

Full-color transfer heat-applies a printed film directly onto the item, bonding it as a thin, smooth surface layer. It reproduces photographic imagery, multi-color artwork, and continuous gradients — capabilities solid spot-color methods cannot match. The finished mark reads as a flat, slightly filmic layer with a subtle sheen at the surface boundary; its strength is color complexity, tonal shading, and fine detail.
