Storage and Carry
The Troubadour Apex Backpack 4.0 is an everyday laptop backpack with a double-zippered main compartment, a zippered padded laptop compartment, a front zippered pocket, two side slip pockets (one with zip-safe closure), an interior slip pocket, an interior zippered mesh pocket, and exterior and interior valuables pockets. A CrashPad Cocoon tech laptop sleeve suspends and cushions the device, and the backpack accommodates most laptops up to 16 in. The main compartment is lockable; the lock is not included. A trolley sleeve fits over your luggage, a shoulder strap slip pocket keeps cards or a phone in reach, and a key leash is included.
Materials
Made from post consumer recycled materials: recycled polyester (rPET) is obtained by melting down existing plastic bottles and other material sources to create new polyester fiber. Shoulder straps, zippers, handles and key leash are not rPET. The main fabric is super-tough, non-crease FortiWeave, and the water-resistant zippers, lining and fabric use eco-conscious fluorocarbon-free material.
Care and Certification
Spot clean and air dry. Troubadour is B Corp certified, a designation that the company voluntarily meets independently developed standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency.

Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.
