What does a debossed logo look like?

Debossing presses the design into the material with a heated die, leaving a recessed impression below the surrounding surface. There is no ink and no added color: the mark is the material itself, a tonal, shadowed shape that catches light along its pressed edges and gives tactile depth under a fingertip. Can a deboss include color or fine detail?

No. Because nothing is added, debossing reproduces shape but not color, and the displaced material rounds the edges of fine lines, small text and gradients. Reserve it for bold, simple logos and type where a subtle, tactile impression carries the branding. For a printed ink color choose pad print or screen print; for crisp, permanent fine detail on a hard surface choose laser engraving. More about Debossed →

How should I wash decorated apparel to protect the logo?

Turn the garment inside out, wash cold with like colors, skip bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Never iron directly over a screen print, heat transfer or embroidery; iron inside out or around the decoration. Embroidery and cured screen-print ink withstand repeated washing when the garment's own care label is followed. More about Apparel →
