Description
Wind Protection and Comfort
The Ridgewall Soft Shell Vest is built with WindWall fabric that limits wind permeability to less than 10 CFM, reducing wind chill while keeping the vest flexible and breathable. The interior features a brushed micro-gridded fleece that adds warmth and comfort against the skin.
Responsible Materials and Finish
Solid colorways use 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, and the face fabric receives a non-PFC DWR finish for water repellency without perfluorinated chemicals. Heather versions use 100% polyester with the same finish.
Branding and Details
The vest includes a reverse-coil center front zipper, hand pockets, and an interior hem cinch-cord. The North Face logo is embroidered on the left hem and right back shoulder, offering two branding surfaces for your custom embroidery.

- What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade.
