Description
Weather Protection
The North Face DryVent Rain Jacket is built with a seam-sealed DryVent 2.5L shell that is 100% windproof and waterproof. The 40D 77 g/m2 recycled nylon ripstop fabric (solid) or 70D 154 g/m2 nylon/polyester blend (heather) carries a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish, so rain beads up and rolls off. Pit-zip venting lets you dump heat when you're working hard, and the storm flap with Velcro closure keeps the elements out.
Design and Storage
The jacket includes a stowable hood and packs into its left hand pocket, making it easy to carry when the sun comes out. Velcro tab cuffs help seal in warmth, and the contrast embroidered The North Face logo on the left chest and right back shoulder adds a recognizable finish. A contrast DryVent logo on the left sleeve completes the look.
Branding
Your custom logo can be embroidered on the left chest or right back shoulder, using the raised, textured stitch that holds bold shapes and readable lettering cleanly. Embroidery is best for logos and lettering built from solid shapes, where a dimensional finish adds value.

Decoration & Imprint
1 method
Your logo is embroidered on the left chest or right back shoulder of the jacket. Embroidery uses colored thread stitched directly into the fabric, creating a raised, textured mark that holds bold shapes and readable lettering cleanly.
EmbroideryFull-color imprint · 1 location included · one-time setup $35.00
Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.

From our decoration and product guides
- What does an embroidered logo look like?
- Embroidery stitches the design directly into the fabric, building the artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling and wear through repeated washing. - What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade. For photographic or gradient artwork choose a full-color method; for crisp hairline detail choose screen print. More about Embroidery →
- How are embroidery thread colors matched to my brand colors?
- Each color in the design is stitched in a solid thread shade chosen to match your artwork. Where a product offers it, Pantone (PMS) color matching is an option for an additional charge per color, selecting the thread closest to your Pantone reference; otherwise the embroiderer picks the nearest standard thread color.
