Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.

From our decoration and product guides

What is digital full-color printing?: Digital printing sends the artwork straight from file to the item with no plates or per-color screens, laying every color down in a single pass. It carries photographs, gradients, drop shadows and dense multi-color artwork at high resolution, reading as a flat image on the surface, and holds fine detail and small type cleanly. More about Full Color →
Does digital printing match Pantone colors exactly?: A specific brand color is rendered as a close full-color process simulation rather than an exact spot ink, and on colored items the substrate shifts the appearance. Digital printing is the right choice when the artwork is photographic, has gradients or carries more colors than clean solids can capture. When a brand color must reproduce as an exact, edge-to-edge solid, choose screen print. More about Full Color →
What is pad printing and what does it look like?: Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, so the pad flexes into curves, angles and recessed areas that a flat application cannot follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges. Each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid that holds evenly on contoured or darker surfaces, and the cured ink resists everyday wear. More about Pad Printed →
