Your artwork is applied to the speaker. Heat Transfer — Full Color lays down photographic, multi-color artwork with smooth gradients and crisp edges on a thin bonded surface layer, while Pad Print applies a thin, flat layer of opaque spot-color ink that conforms to curved and recessed surfaces. Choose Heat Transfer — Full Color for gradient-rich or many-colored artwork, and Pad Print for fine lines, small text, and tightly detailed artwork.
Heat Transfer — Full Colorone-time setup $60.00 · Full color
Full-color transfer heat-applies a printed film directly onto the item, bonding it as a thin, smooth surface layer. It reproduces photographic imagery, multi-color artwork, and continuous gradients — capabilities solid spot-color methods cannot match. The finished mark reads as a flat, slightly filmic layer with a subtle sheen at the surface boundary; its strength is color complexity, tonal shading, and fine detail.
Pad Print1 color/location included · no setup charge · Up to 4 colors
Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.

From our decoration and product guides
- What is a heat transfer imprint?
- Heat transfer prints the design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Each color goes down as its own solid ink, so edges stay crisp and color stays even across the mark. The result is a smooth, thin bonded layer that flexes with the material rather than ink soaked into the cloth. More about Transfer →
- Can heat transfer print photographs or gradients?
- Standard heat transfer prints spot colors as flat solids, so photographic art, gradients and tonal blends are not a fit; those need a process-color transfer, which many products list as a four-color or full-color transfer option. Very small text and hairline elements may also soften slightly at the bonded edge, while crisp lines and fine solid detail hold well. More about Transfer →
- What is pad printing and what does it look like?
- Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, so the pad flexes into curves, angles and recessed areas that a flat application cannot follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges. Each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid that holds evenly on contoured or darker surfaces, and the cured ink resists everyday wear. More about Pad Printed →
