Decoration & Imprint

3 methods

Your mark can be placed on the left chest or other standard imprint areas of the lab coat. Embroidery stitches your design in colored thread for a raised, textured mark; Heat Transfer — Four Color / 4CP applies a smooth, thin bonded film for photographic or gradient-rich artwork; Screen Print — Dark Colors pushes ink through a mesh stencil for crisp, opaque spot-color coverage. For bold logos and lettering, embroidery is the strongest route; for photographic or many-color artwork, heat transfer is the better fit; for solid shapes and simple lettering needing strong opaque coverage, screen printing works well.

Embroideryone-time setup $35.00 · Full color

Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.

Heat Transfer — Four Color / 4CPone-time setup $30.00 · Full color

Four-color-process heat transfer prints your design in CMYK onto a release film, then bonds it to the garment under heat and pressure. It reproduces photographs, gradients, and many-color artwork with continuous-tone fidelity that solid spot inks cannot match. The finished mark reads as a smooth, low-profile layer at the surface; color is built from blended process inks, landing close to brand references rather than as exact spot solids.

Screen Print — Dark Colors1 color/location included · one-time setup $30.00 · Up to 8 colors

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

From our decoration and product guides

What does an embroidered logo look like?
Embroidery stitches the design directly into the fabric, building the artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling and wear through repeated washing. More about Embroidery →
What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade. For photographic or gradient artwork choose a full-color method; for crisp hairline detail choose screen print. More about Embroidery →
How are embroidery thread colors matched to my brand colors?
Each color in the design is stitched in a solid thread shade chosen to match your artwork. Where a product offers it, Pantone (PMS) color matching is an option for an additional charge per color, selecting the thread closest to your Pantone reference; otherwise the embroiderer picks the nearest standard thread color.
