The Port Authority Heavyweight Parka is a fully seam-sealed parka built for unforgiving weather, with a water-repellent finish, an 8000MM fabric waterproof rating and a 3000G/M fabric breathability rating. It has a 100% polyester shell and a 100% polyester quilted lining, with a 6-ounce polyfill-lined body and 4-ounce polyfill-lined sleeves.

Details include a snap-off adjustable hood, storm flap, two-way Vislon zipper with ergonomic pull, waterproof welded sleeve pocket, waterproof zippered pockets, hand warmer pocket, bellow pockets for storage, molded adjustable tab cuffs with hook and loop closures, interior media pocket, open hem with drawcord and toggles, and a Port Pocket for decoration access.
Layering and Decoration
In the harshest conditions, the parka can be worn over a down jacket (sold separately) for increased protection. Embroidery is available.

- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade.
