Description
The Port Authority ANSI 107 Class 3 Safety Heavyweight Parka is made with a 100% polyester shell and 100% polyester quilted lining. It features a 6-ounce polyfill-lined body and 4-ounce polyfill-lined sleeves, an 8000MM fabric waterproof rating, and fully seam-sealed construction. Additional details include a snap-off adjustable hood, drawcord waist with toggles, storm flap, two-way zipper, waterproof zippered pockets, a hand warmer pocket, bellow pockets, molded adjustable tab cuffs with hook and loop closures, an interior MP3 player pocket, and a Port Pocket for easy embroidery access. The parka has 2-in. wide reflective taping on the front, back, and sleeves.
This garment must be fully zipped to be in compliance with ANSI/ISEA 107 standards. It can be worn over the Down Jacket (sold separately) for increased weather protection.

The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.
Heat Transfer — Four Color / 4CPone-time setup $30.00 · Full color
Four-color-process heat transfer prints your design in CMYK onto a release film, then bonds it to the garment under heat and pressure. It reproduces photographs, gradients, and many-color artwork with continuous-tone fidelity that solid spot inks cannot match. The finished mark reads as a smooth, low-profile layer at the surface; color is built from blended process inks, landing close to brand references rather than as exact spot solids.

- What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced. Embroidery is at its best with logos and lettering built from bold, solid shapes, where each color stitches as its own thread shade.
