Description
The Moleskine® Hard Cover Ruled Large Smart Notebook pairs a classic hard cover notebook with invisible Ncodes on every page. The Moleskine Smart Pen (sold separately) works with those codes and the Moleskine Notes App to create a digital copy of each word and sketch.
The notebook holds 176 pages (88 sheets) of ivory-colored, FSC®-certified, acid-free 100 g/m² paper. It has rounded corners, an elastic closure, an expandable inner pocket in the back, and an "in case of loss" notice printed on the flyleaf, and it lies flat and opens to 180°.

Debossing presses your design into the material with a heated die, displacing the surface to leave a recessed impression below the surrounding plane. No ink, no added color. The mark is the substrate itself — a tonal, shadowed shape that catches light along its pressed edges and gives tactile depth under a fingertip. On grained leatherette the recess burnishes slightly darker; bold logos and simple type carry well, while intricate detail rounds and loses definition.

Foil stamping (hot stamping) presses a thin metallic foil onto the surface with a heated metal die, bonding it where the die makes contact and leaving a shallow pressed-in impression. The mark reads as a single reflective metallic tone: it throws light at some angles and darkens to an outline of itself at others, giving the logo depth against the base. Solid shapes and bold lettering hold cleanly; very fine lines and small text can soften as the foil seats under pressure.
