Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch your design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges that hold fine lines and small text. The result carries no separate ink: it reads in the substrate's own tone — a lighter shade on metal, a darker burn on wood — with a depth you can feel and a mark that resists fading, wear, and scratching.

From our decoration and product guides

What does laser engraving look like on a promotional product?: Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch the design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges. There is no ink: the mark reads in the material's own tone, a lighter shade on metal and a darker burn on wood, with a depth you can feel. It resists fading, wear and scratching because nothing sits on top of the surface. More about Laser →
Can laser engraving be done in my brand color?: No. Engraving carries no added color and shows only the substrate's own tone, so a design that depends on brand colors, color contrast, gradients or photographic detail is a poor fit. It is the right choice for single-tone logos, fine line work and small text where a permanent, dimensional mark matters more than color. For printed spot color choose pad print or screen print. More about Laser →
Where are your products made?: The Origin row in each product's Specifications states where the item is manufactured: it reads Made in a named country for US, Canadian, UK, Swiss and European origins, and Imported, decorated in USA when the blank comes from elsewhere and is decorated domestically. Products manufactured in the United States are also collected in the USA Made category. More about USA-made products →
