The La Cuisine™ French Rolling Pin is crafted from acacia wood, a natural and renewable material. Its tapered, handle-free design allows for precise and consistent dough control, with pressure applied outward by your hands. This makes rolling delicate dough easier, requiring fewer strokes and less elbow grease, and helps prevent tearing pastry dough.
Care and Customization
To maintain the wood, wipe with soap and water and towel dry promptly, and periodically apply butcher block oil. The pin can be personalized with laser etching, which creates a permanent, recessed mark in the wood's own tone, ideal for fine line work and small text.

Heat transfer prints your design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Each color goes down as its own solid ink, so edges stay crisp and color stays even across the mark. Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch your design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges that hold fine lines and small text. The result carries no separate ink: it reads in the substrate's own tone — a lighter shade on metal, a darker burn on wood — with a depth you can feel and a mark that resists fading, wear, and scratching.
