The finished patch is sewn or affixed to the item. The result is a slightly recessed, two-tone etch you can feel, with a rugged finish that resists washing, sun, and outdoor wear. Crisp edges and bold marks resolve cleanly; very fine lines and smooth gradients lose definition.
