Decoration & Imprint

3 methods

Your logo is placed on the back of the shirt. Choose from screen print, heat transfer, or reflective heat transfer. Screen print is best for bold spot-color artwork, heat transfer for photographic detail, and reflective heat transfer for high-visibility marks.

Heat Transfer — ReflectiveFull-color imprint · 1 location included · one-time setup $60.00

Reflective transfer cuts your design from a light-reflective vinyl and bonds it to the fabric under heat and pressure. In normal light the mark reads as a solid graphic in the vinyl's own tone; under headlights or a camera flash it lights up, reflecting light back toward its source. The applied layer is smooth, flexible, and applied as a single reflective layer.

Screen Print1 color/location included · one-time setup $60.00 · Up to 4 colors

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Heat Transfer — Full Colorone-time setup $60.00 · Full color

Full-color transfer heat-applies a printed film directly onto the item, bonding it as a thin, smooth surface layer. It reproduces photographic imagery, multi-color artwork, and continuous gradients — capabilities solid spot-color methods cannot match. The finished mark reads as a flat, slightly filmic layer with a subtle sheen at the surface boundary; its strength is color complexity, tonal shading, and fine detail.

From our decoration and product guides

What is a heat transfer imprint?
Heat transfer prints the design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Each color goes down as its own solid ink, so edges stay crisp and color stays even across the mark. The result is a smooth, thin bonded layer that flexes with the material rather than ink soaked into the cloth. More about Transfer →
Can heat transfer print photographs or gradients?
Standard heat transfer prints spot colors as flat solids, so photographic art, gradients and tonal blends are not a fit; those need a process-color transfer, which many products list as a four-color or full-color transfer option. Very small text and hairline elements may also soften slightly at the bonded edge, while crisp lines and fine solid detail hold well. More about Transfer →
What does a screen-printed logo look like on a promotional product?
Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, one pass per color. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, so the mark is flat, opaque and consistent across the run, with crisp edges that sit on top of the material. On heavy coverage you can feel a slight raised texture where the ink builds up, and the cured ink holds up to repeated handling and washing. More about Screen Print →
