Description
The Crystal Octavia Award is made entirely of heavy optic crystal, including its base, and cut into a clean octagon shape. Machine-made crystal keeps the material pure and colorless, with excellent clarity and sparkle, and every plane is highly polished. Because the piece is exceptionally heavy, it holds its place on a desk or shelf rather than tipping or sliding.
Each award comes gift boxed, so it can be handed over or shipped without separate presentation packaging. Dimensions and bevels may vary slightly from piece to piece; these variations are inherent to the material and are not considered defects.

Your artwork is applied to one side of the award. Laser — Deep Etch carves the design into the crystal as a recessed, pigment-free mark with bold contrast and a texture you can feel, while Digital Print lays down full-color CMYK ink in a single pass for photographic imagery, gradients, and fine multi-color detail. Choose Laser — Deep Etch when a deep, tactile mark and lasting contrast matter more than color; choose Digital Print when smooth tonal blends and fine detail matter more than an exact spot-color solid.

Deep etching carves your design well into the surface, removing material to leave a recessed, permanent mark. Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.

Digital printing sends artwork straight from file to the item — no plates or per-color screens — laying all colors down in a single pass. It carries photographs, gradients, drop shadows, and dense multi-color artwork at high resolution, reading as a flat image on the surface. A specific brand color is rendered as a close full-color process simulation rather than an exact spot ink, and on colored items the substrate shifts the appearance.
