The Carhartt Foundry Series Pro Backpack is constructed from 1200D heavy-duty polyester with a Rain Defender durable water repellent (DWR) finish. This rugged material resists abrasion and moisture, helping the backpack maintain its appearance through demanding use. The large main compartment offers 28 liters of capacity, with a zippered mesh pocket for organization.

A dedicated back compartment holds a 17-inch laptop and a tablet sleeve, while a zippered fleece-lined pocket protects safety glasses. Two side zippered pockets, a zippered organizational compartment, and an additional front pocket keep gear accessible. Four-color-process heat transfer prints your design in CMYK onto a release film, then bonds it to the garment under heat and pressure. It reproduces photographs, gradients, and many-color artwork with continuous-tone fidelity that solid spot inks cannot match. The finished mark reads as a smooth, low-profile layer at the surface; color is built from blended process inks, landing close to brand references rather than as exact spot solids.

- What artwork is a poor fit for embroidery?
- Hairline strokes, very small type and continuous-tone gradients. Each stitch occupies real space in the fabric, so fine lines and small text round off and shading cannot be reproduced.
