Your imprint is placed opposite the clip, in a 0.5"h x 1.375"w area. Pad Print lays down a thin, opaque layer of spot-color ink that conforms to the curved surface with crisp edges, ideal for fine lines and small text. Heat Transfer — Full Color applies a full-color, photographic-quality transfer with smooth gradients and sharp detail, bonded as a thin surface layer. For artwork with tight detail or small text, Pad Print holds edges best; for multi-color, gradient-rich designs, Heat Transfer — Full Color reproduces tonal blends faithfully.

Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.

Full-color transfer heat-applies a printed film directly onto the item, bonding it as a thin, smooth surface layer. It reproduces photographic imagery, multi-color artwork, and continuous gradients — capabilities solid spot-color methods cannot match. The finished mark reads as a flat, slightly filmic layer with a subtle sheen at the surface boundary; its strength is color complexity, tonal shading, and fine detail.
