Description
The Ukulele cutting board is shaped like a ukulele and built from vertical-grain bamboo, a construction that keeps the board lightweight and knife friendly. A dark inlay of natural and caramelized bamboo strips runs down the center, and the bamboo is steamed so the sugars caramelize into a natural color that lasts the life of the board.
At 22" x 9" x 5/8", the board works as a serving surface as well as a cutting surface, and the included hanging hole lets it hang on the wall as decor. Care is simple: hand wash or wipe with a damp cloth, and do not soak it in water or put it in the dishwasher.
The bamboo is Moso bamboo, a renewable resource that grows quickly and does not require clear cutting, artificial irrigation or replanting.
