Description
The Champ is a 58-inch arc golf umbrella with a vented nylon canopy stretched over a steel and fiberglass frame. The vent lets air move through the top panel, which reduces the lift that builds under a solid canopy in a gust. Fiberglass ribs flex under load while the steel shaft keeps the canopy steady overhead.
Automatic open mechanics deploy the canopy with a push, and a rubberized straight handle gives you a textured grip to carry through a full round. Closed, the umbrella measures 22 inches and weighs 1.4 lb, so it stows easily in a golf bag or the included shoulder-strap carrying sleeve.
