Description

The Small Tangent Award is a compact art-glass piece presented on an arched base fitted with a metal holder. The glass reclines back slightly in that holder, so the award face angles toward the viewer rather than standing flat.

Customization is done by sandcarved etching: the design is carved into the glass with an abrasive blast, leaving a deep, frosted impression you can feel. The carved mark is bold and colorless, so lettering and shapes hold while fine hairlines are lost in the depth of the carve.
