The Swiss Modern Santoku Knife pairs a 7-inch stainless steel blade with a handle cut from European walnut. The blade carries a fluted edge that reduces friction as it moves through food, which helps keep slices from clinging to the steel. The walnut is richly grained and dark brown, so the grain pattern on each handle differs from the next.
