Your custom engraving is applied to the back of the medal, within a 2-inch diameter area. For full-color artwork, a heat transfer label can be applied as a smooth adhesive film on the back surface, reproducing detailed, photographic-quality designs.

Domed Decal (also doming or 3D resin label): a full-color printed adhesive label finished with a clear polyurethane resin that cures into a raised dome over the artwork. Color renders as a full-color process blend that comes close to brand-color references but does not match exact spot inks.
