Description
The Sea Whisper Bowl Award is a hand-blown crystal piece with swirling patterns etched upon glass cylinders. Because each bowl is blown by hand, bubbles and other small imperfections occur naturally and are not considered defects — a mark of the process rather than a flaw.
Every award is signed by the artist, and a ten dollar contribution is made to the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture on behalf of the purchase. The bowl comes in a gift box, so it can go straight from the carton to the presentation table.
A laser deep etch carves your message into the crystal as a recessed mark with no added pigment, holding bold lettering and clean logos with definition. The imprint area measures 2.5"H x 3"W, leaving room for a name, a date, or a short line of recognition.

Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.
