This crystallization-type hand warmer activates by flexing the small metal disk inside and stays warm for 15 to 25 minutes. It can be used up to 300 times, and complete instructions are printed on the item.
To reuse, submerge the hand warmer in a pot of water and boil on a stove for at least 15 minutes, or until the filling is completely liquid and clear again.
