Your mark is laser deep etched into the front face of the crystal award, carved below the surface for a permanent, tactile imprint with no added color. For artwork that requires solid fill colors, Laser — Colorfill is also available, back-filling the etch with one or more colors. Choose deep etch for bold, clean logos and lettering, or colorfill when your design needs color contrast.

Deep etching carves your design well into the surface, removing material to leave a recessed, permanent mark. Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.

Colorfill starts with a deep laser etch and floods the recessed artwork with solid color, producing a crisp inlaid mark. Bold logos and lettering with distinct color regions render best; the number of fill colors available depends on the specific product.
