Key Facts
- Vinyl construction — lightweight and flexible, clings securely to metal surfaces
- Pad print up to 4 colors — thin, conforming ink holds fine lines and small text with crisp edges
- Full-color digital decal — reproduces photographs and gradients cleanly as an applied graphic
Description
This rainbow magnet is made from flexible vinyl, giving it a lightweight feel while still holding securely to file cabinets, refrigerators, and other indoor metal surfaces. Its simple construction keeps the focus on your branding.
Two decoration methods let you match the artwork to the application. A pad print lays down a thin, opaque layer of ink that conforms to the surface for sharp fine lines and small text. A digital decal prints your full-color design as an adhesive graphic, ideal for photographs and detailed logos.
Decoration & Imprint
2 methods
Your imprint is applied to the face of the magnet. Choose a pad print for crisp fine lines and small text, or a full-color digital decal for photographs and detailed artwork.
Pad PrintFull-color imprint · 1 location included · one-time setup $60.00
Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.
Digital DecalFull-color imprint · 1 location included · one-time setup $60.00
A digital decal prints your design — including photographs, gradients, and fine multicolor artwork — onto adhesive vinyl or film, which is then applied cleanly to the product. Because it is printed digitally, every copy is identical edge to edge, and no heat or curing step is pressed into the product itself.

From our decoration and product guides
- What is pad printing and what does it look like?
- Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, so the pad flexes into curves, angles and recessed areas that a flat application cannot follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges. Each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid that holds evenly on contoured or darker surfaces, and the cured ink resists everyday wear. More about Pad Printed →
- When should I choose pad printing over screen printing?
- When the artwork has fine lines, small text or tight detail that must stay sharp on a contoured or uneven surface, such as a pen barrel or a curved drinkware wall. The conforming pad holds crisp edges where flat methods cannot reach. Pad printing suits fine detail better than flooding large areas, so for broad solid fills, photographs or gradients look at screen printing or a full-color process instead. More about Pad Printed →
- How does rush production work at Promotion Pros?
- Your deadline is the production clock. When you order rush, the countdown starts the moment you check out with print-ready artwork, not after a digital proof is approved. Most suppliers will not start the clock until a proof is signed off, which quietly adds days to a fast-turn promise; a rush order goes to production immediately, so the turnaround you pick is the turnaround you get.
