Description
Design and Material
The Prisma Octagon is an octagon-shaped award cut from jade crystal, with beveled edges that catch light from every angle. Its translucent green tone and polished finish give it a distinctive presence that suits a formal recognition setting.
Customization
Your corporate inscription is deep etched into the crystal, creating a recessed mark with tactile depth. The award also supports full-color Illumachrome heat transfer for photographic detail.
Presentation
A display stand is included, so the award is ready to present immediately. The octagon form and beveled edges make it a memorable piece for honoring achievement.
Decoration & Imprint
2 methods
Your mark is deep etched into the front face of the crystal award, carved below the surface for a permanent, recessed imprint. For full-color artwork, Illumachrome heat transfer prints the image directly into the crystal with photographic depth.
Laser — Deep Etch1 location included · no setup charge
Deep etching carves your design well into the surface, removing material to leave a recessed, permanent mark. Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.
Heat Transfer — IllumachromeFull-color imprint · 1 location included · no setup charge
Illumachrome prints a full-color image directly into the crystal, fusing artwork to the surface so it becomes part of the piece rather than a coating on top. The result reads with photographic depth: fine detail, smooth gradients, and continuous tonal shading show through the clear material with no raised edge or texture to the touch. Photos, complex illustrations, and shaded logos reproduce faithfully, with brand colors simulated close to true rather than matched exactly.

From our decoration and product guides
- What does laser engraving look like on a promotional product?
- Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch the design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges. There is no ink: the mark reads in the material's own tone, a lighter shade on metal and a darker burn on wood, with a depth you can feel. It resists fading, wear and scratching because nothing sits on top of the surface. More about Laser →
- Can laser engraving be done in my brand color?
- No. Engraving carries no added color and shows only the substrate's own tone, so a design that depends on brand colors, color contrast, gradients or photographic detail is a poor fit. It is the right choice for single-tone logos, fine line work and small text where a permanent, dimensional mark matters more than color. For printed spot color choose pad print or screen print. More about Laser →
- What is a heat transfer imprint?
- Heat transfer prints the design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Each color goes down as its own solid ink, so edges stay crisp and color stays even across the mark. The result is a smooth, thin bonded layer that flexes with the material rather than ink soaked into the cloth. More about Transfer →
