Both debossing and laser etching create a permanent, recessed mark in the fabric's own tone — debossing presses the design in for a tactile impression, while laser etching burns a crisp, fine-line mark. Choose the method that best suits your artwork's detail and tonal needs.

Debossing presses your design into the material with a heated die, displacing the surface to leave a recessed impression below the surrounding plane. No ink, no added color. The mark is the substrate itself — a tonal, shadowed shape that catches light along its pressed edges and gives tactile depth under a fingertip. On grained leatherette the recess burnishes slightly darker; bold logos and simple type carry well, while intricate detail rounds and loses definition.
Laserone-time setup $45.00
Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch your design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges that hold fine lines and small text. The result carries no separate ink: it reads in the substrate's own tone — a lighter shade on metal, a darker burn on wood — with a depth you can feel and a mark that resists fading, wear, and scratching.
