The Oxford Award is built from black and optical crystal, with the dark crystal wrapping around a brilliant clear panel. The shape is artful and intricate, giving the piece the presence of a small sculpture rather than a standard trophy.
Personalization lands on the clear panel, where a recipient's name and a few words about their effort are laser deep etched into the surface. The mark is recessed and carries no pigment, so it reads through contrast and texture rather than color.

Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.
