Your mark is pad printed or laser etched onto the frame of the sunglasses. Pad printing applies up to four colors of opaque ink that conforms to curved surfaces, while laser etching creates a permanent, recessed mark in the material's own tone.

Laser engraving uses a focused beam to etch your design directly into the surface, leaving a permanent, recessed mark with clean, sharp edges that hold fine lines and small text. The result carries no separate ink: it reads in the substrate's own tone — a lighter shade on metal, a darker burn on wood — with a depth you can feel and a mark that resists fading, wear, and scratching.
