The MOVA® Globe uses an internal industrial-strength magnet and ambient light to rotate silently and perpetually against a liquid-filled sphere. No batteries, cords, or power sources are required — it is a completely self-contained kinetic object. Your mark is laser engraved into the optical crystal base. Choose deep etching for a recessed, tactile mark with bold contrast and no color, or colorfill to back-fill the etched area with one or more solid colors.

Deep etching carves your design well into the surface, removing material to leave a recessed, permanent mark. Running deeper than a standard laser pass, the result is strongly dimensional and contoured. The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.

Colorfill starts with a deep laser etch and floods the recessed artwork with solid color, producing a crisp inlaid mark. Bold logos and lettering with distinct color regions render best; the number of fill colors available depends on the specific product.
