Description
The Malibu Groove is an 18-inch cutting and carving board built from organically grown, vertical grain bamboo. That width gives you room to work through a full round of kitchen prep, and the two-tone grain pattern comes from the bamboo's own vertical laminations rather than an applied finish.
One side of the board is routed with a juice groove around the edge, so runoff from poultry, roasts and juicy fruit collects in the channel instead of reaching the counter. The bamboo surface is strong and durable while staying gentle on knife edges, which keeps the board in working condition through regular use.
Care is simple: hand wash the board or wipe it with a damp cloth, and keep it out of the sink soak and the dishwasher. The bamboo itself is Moso, a renewable resource that grows quickly and needs no clear cutting, artificial irrigation or replanting.
