Digital Print applies full-color CMYK ink in one pass for photographic imagery and gradients, while Pad Print uses up to four spot colors for fine lines and small text with crisp edges. Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow.
