The Gildan Hammer T-Shirt is a 6-ounce, 100% ring spun cotton tee. Ring spun cotton is made from twisted fibers, creating a softer, stronger yarn that feels smooth against the skin. The seamless, non-topstitched 7/8" collar and taped neck and shoulders add durability and a clean finish.
Label and Care
This shirt features a recycled, high-performing black tear-away label, so you can remove it without scissors. Note that this product is transitioning from tear-away labels to recycled labels; your order may contain a combination of both. Double-needle stitching on sleeves and hem reinforces high-wear areas.

The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade. The result is a raised, tactile mark with the soft sheen of thread and a slightly dimensional edge. Each shape reads as a clean, saturated block, and the sewn-in design resists fading, peeling, and wear through repeated washing.
