Materials and construction
The Executive FSC® Journal is made with FSC® certified recycled paper and cover board, supporting environmentally conscious choices. Its premium cover uses 120GSM recycled paper over a durable 2 mm greyboard, finished with a black grommet spine for a modern, textured look. Inside, 96 sheets (192 pages) of 80GSM acid-free white lined paper provide a smooth writing surface.

Your imprint is placed on the front or back cover of the journal. Screen Print applies bold spot-color artwork with crisp edges, while Digital Print reproduces full-color images and gradients in a single pass. For artwork with solid shapes and simple lettering, choose Screen Print; for photographic or multi-color detail, choose Digital Print.

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Digital printing sends artwork straight from file to the item — no plates or per-color screens — laying all colors down in a single pass. It carries photographs, gradients, drop shadows, and dense multi-color artwork at high resolution, reading as a flat image on the surface. A specific brand color is rendered as a close full-color process simulation rather than an exact spot ink, and on colored items the substrate shifts the appearance.

- Yes. Because every color is a separate, premixed spot ink, screen printing can be mixed to a specific Pantone (PMS) number.
