This District t-shirt is made from 100% recycled fabric that is never re-dyed, produced from reclaimed material that could otherwise end up in a landfill. The 5.3-ounce (180 GSM) fabric is 60% recycled cotton and 40% recycled polyester in 24 singles; the Light Heather Grey and Ash colorways use recycled cotton, recycled polyester and recycled rayon blends. The style's carbon footprint has been measured and reduced through preferred materials and carbon offset projects.

The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric, building artwork from dense, interlocking threads rather than laying ink on the surface. Each color is its own thread in a solid shade.
