Description
The Decathlon Cup is a trophy cup in 24% full-lead crystal, hand-blown and formed by hand. Because it is made that way, expect minor bubbles and swirls, and a body that ranges from colorless to a subtle blue tint. Dimensions and weight vary from piece to piece, and larger pieces in this category are exceptionally heavy due to lead content.
A hand-cut laurel pattern sits at the center of the cup, and the rim is designed to showcase the recipient's name or achievement. The hand-cut pattern varies from piece to piece, a result of its hand-crafted nature. Glass will ring when pinged, and the crystal carries excellent sparkle.
Your mark is laser deep etched into the crystal, carved below the surface for a recessed imprint with bold contrast and a texture you can feel. The mark carries no pigment of its own, so it holds bold artwork and clean lettering with strong definition. Not suitable for hot liquids.

The finished mark is the material itself — bare carved tone with crisp shadowed contrast where the cut catches light against the untouched surface. You get a mark you can both see and feel, reading as permanent and material rather than printed on.
