Decoration & Imprint

3 methods

Your imprint lands on the front cover of the padfolio, with additional placement available inside. Deboss presses a recessed, ink-free impression into the surface; Screen Print lays crisp, opaque color on top of the material; Heat Transfer bonds a smooth, thin applied layer that flexes with the cover. Choose Deboss for bold, simple logos and type where a tonal, tactile impression carries the branding; choose Screen Print or Heat Transfer for solid spot-color artwork that needs flat, even color coverage.

Debossone-time setup $75.00

Debossing presses your design into the material with a heated die, displacing the surface to leave a recessed impression below the surrounding plane. No ink, no added color. The mark is the substrate itself — a tonal, shadowed shape that catches light along its pressed edges and gives tactile depth under a fingertip. On grained leatherette the recess burnishes slightly darker; bold logos and simple type carry well, while intricate detail rounds and loses definition.

Screen Print1 color/location included · one-time setup $62.50 · Up to 6 colors

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Heat Transferone-time setup $85.00 · Up to 4 colors

Heat transfer prints your design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Each color goes down as its own solid ink, so edges stay crisp and color stays even across the mark. The result reads as a smooth, thin bonded layer — low-profile and flexible enough to move with the fabric, not ink soaked into the cloth.

From our decoration and product guides

What does a debossed logo look like?
Debossing presses the design into the material with a heated die, leaving a recessed impression below the surrounding surface. There is no ink and no added color: the mark is the material itself, a tonal, shadowed shape that catches light along its pressed edges and gives tactile depth under a fingertip. On grained leatherette the recess burnishes slightly darker. More about Debossed →
Can a deboss include color or fine detail?
No. Because nothing is added, debossing reproduces shape but not color, and the displaced material rounds the edges of fine lines, small text and gradients. Reserve it for bold, simple logos and type where a subtle, tactile impression carries the branding. For a printed ink color choose pad print or screen print; for crisp, permanent fine detail on a hard surface choose laser engraving. More about Debossed →
What does a screen-printed logo look like on a promotional product?
Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, one pass per color. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, so the mark is flat, opaque and consistent across the run, with crisp edges that sit on top of the material. On heavy coverage you can feel a slight raised texture where the ink builds up, and the cured ink holds up to repeated handling and washing. More about Screen Print →
