Description
The Good Value™ Chrome Dart RABS Pen is a plunger-action writing instrument with a body made of recycled ABS plastic. The plastic contains 87% post-consumer recycled ABS, and the pen measures 5.75 inches in length. It uses a 1 mm medium ballpoint refill with a tungsten carbide ball tip.
Ink Stream Technology™ upgraded ink offers a consistent, smooth write-out. The refill is offered with black ink and with blue ink in select colorways.

Screen printing presses ink through a fine mesh stencil, laying down each color as a separate pass. Each color lays down as its own premixed spot ink, printing solid and consistent across the run. The applied mark is flat and opaque, sitting on top of the material with crisp edges; on heavy coverage, you can feel a slight raised texture where ink builds up. The cured ink is durable and holds up to repeated handling and washing.

Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.

Screen printing holds clean edges on solid shapes and standard lettering, but very fine hairlines, smooth gradients and photographic blends lose definition because each color prints as a flat solid layer. - Yes. Because every color is a separate, premixed spot ink, screen printing can be mixed to a specific Pantone (PMS) number.
