Heat transfer prints your design in premixed spot inks onto a film, then bonds that film to the surface under heat and pressure. Four-color-process heat transfer prints your design in CMYK onto a release film, then bonds it to the garment under heat and pressure. The finished mark reads as a smooth, low-profile layer at the surface; color is built from blended process inks, landing close to brand references rather than as exact spot solids.
