Laser etching creates a permanent, recessed mark in the steel's own tone, while pad printing lays down a thin, opaque layer of Pantone-matched ink that conforms to the flat surface. Choose laser for single-tone logos and fine line work, or pad print when the design depends on added color and tight detail.

Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow. The result is a thin, nearly flush ink layer with well-defined edges — each color prints as an opaque spot-ink solid, holding evenly on contoured or darker surfaces; cured ink resists everyday wear.
