Your artwork is pad printed onto the curved ABS surface of the light. The flexible pad conforms to the sphere, laying down a thin, opaque ink layer that holds fine lines and small text with crisp edges.

Pad printing (tampography) transfers ink from a silicone pad onto the item, flexing into curves, angles, and recessed areas flat application can't follow.
