From our decoration and product guides
- What is direct-to-garment printing?
- Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing jets water-based CMYK ink straight onto a pre-treated garment, with a white underbase on dark fabric, then heat-cures it into the fibers. It reproduces photographs, gradients and dense multi-color artwork with fine detail and a soft hand, because the ink soaks into the cloth rather than sitting on top. It prints most vividly on cotton and light fabrics. More about Full Color →
- Will a DTG print reproduce my exact brand color?
- It lands close, not exact. DTG color is a full-color process blend, so a specific Pantone reference is simulated rather than printed as a dedicated spot ink, and vibrancy on dark garments depends on the white underbase. When a brand color must reproduce as an exact, edge-to-edge solid, choose screen print, which prints each color as its own premixed ink. More about Full Color →
- How does rush production work at Promotion Pros?
- Your deadline is the production clock. When you order rush, the countdown starts the moment you check out with print-ready artwork, not after a digital proof is approved. Most suppliers will not start the clock until a proof is signed off, which quietly adds days to a fast-turn promise; a rush order goes to production immediately, so the turnaround you pick is the turnaround you get.
